Teacher at Escalante Elementary School
POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Garfield County School District is hiring a full-time elementary teacher at Escalante Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year. The teacher must demonstrate mastery of related subject matter with an emphasis on reading, math, instructional skills, and resource materials for elementary.
SALARY: Step & Lane will be determined based on the 2023-2024 Garfield County School District Certified Salary Schedule and applicable teaching experience. This position includes retirement; health/life insurance & paid time off. District-owned subsidized housing may be available.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must have or be capable of obtaining a Utah teaching license & needed endorsements within the time frame set by the board of education. Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not required. All applicants must be fingerprinted and pass an employment background check.
