Garfield County School District Nurse
POSITION AVAILIABLE: Garfield County School District is hiring a part-time school nurse. This position will be 8-10 hours per week, or as needed, and will receive no benefits.
SALARY: Beginning salary will be based on experience, licensing credentials, and paid over a 12-month contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful applicant will perform a wide variety of medical duties in the school facilities to provide a safe environment. Provide nursing assistance to schools throughout the district addressing minor health issues, respond to emergency calls, and complete required reports for the district.
QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse license is preferred. Applicants must be fingerprinted and pass an employment background check. Applicants must work well with students, employees, and parents in a school environment.
