Para-Professional at Panguitch Elementary School
POSITION AVAILABLE:
Garfield County School District is hiring 2 part-time Para-Professionals at Panguitch Elementary School. These
positions will receive no benefits.
· 1st Opening – This position will work up to 28 hours per week, primarily supporting preschool students.
· 2nd Opening – This position will work up to 28 hours per week, primarily supporting our K-6 grade students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support students individually or in small groups with academic tasks.
· Assist with accommodations, modifications, and instructional activities.
· Supervise students to ensure safety in classrooms and non-classroom areas.
· Assist teacher with classroom organization and preparing materials.
· Maintain confidentiality and follow school and district procedures.
SALARY:
Beginning Para-Professional hourly rate according to 2026-2027 Garfield County School District Classified Salary
Schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma and two years of college education or may complete the Para
Pro Test to become highly qualified. Applicants must be fingerprinted and satisfactorily pass an employment
background check.
