Esports Coach at Bryce Valley High School
POSITION AVAILABLE: Garfield County School District is seeking applications for an Esports Coach at Bryce Valley High School in Tropic, Utah beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. The Esports Coach will be responsible for developing, managing, and leading the esports program. This includes coaching student athletes, ensuring that players balance academic responsibilities with their participation in Esports, and promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize and lead regular team practices, scrimmages, competitive matches and tournaments.
- Teach game-specific strategies, mechanics, and teamwork skills.
- Monitor player performance and provide constructive feedback for individual and team improvement.
- Ability to foster teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship in players.
- Manage team communication and logistics, including travel, equipment, and online competition platforms.
- Maintain professional relationships with players, parents, administrators, and the larger esports community.
- Familiarity with esports platforms, streaming tools, and competitive league systems.
SALARY: Coaching Stipend will be paid according to the 2025-2026 Garfield County School District Extra-Curricular Activities Claim Voucher.
