Para-Professional in Preschool at Bryce Valley Elementary
POSITION AVAILABLE:
Garfield County School District is hiring a part-time Para-Professional for preschool at Bryce Valley Elementary School. The successful candidate will be the head teacher for our preschool students by organizing the preschool as well as plan, implement and teach students. This position will be 20 hours per week.
SALARY:
Beginning Para-Professional hourly rate according to 2025-2026 Garfield County School District Classified Salary Schedule. This position is eligible for the Specialty Para-Professional hourly rate according to the 2025-2026 Garfield County School District Classified Salary Schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma and two years of college education or may complete the Para Pro Test to become highly qualified. In addition, applicants are required to have their Child Development Associate (CDA) or complete upon hiring. Applicants must be fingerprinted and satisfactorily pass an employment background check.
