Para-Professionals at Escalante Elementary

POSITION AVAILABLE:

Garfield County School District is hiring 2 part-time Para-Professionals at Escalante Elementary School. These positions receive no benefits.

• Opening 1 – 16 hours per week working in the library: responsible for maintaining the library and organizing grades K-6 library instruction, maintaining elementary school website, and Chromebook management
• Opening 2 – 28 hours per week: helping with student interventions and assisting teachers

SALARY:

Beginning Para-Professional hourly rate according to 2025-2026 Garfield County School District Classified Salary Schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma and two years of college education or may complete the Para Pro Test to become highly qualified. Applicants must be fingerprinted and satisfactorily pass an employment background check.
