GCSD Mathematics Curriculum Maps

I wanted to make parents aware of the new curriculum maps developed by the teachers in Garfield School District in the content area of mathematics. During the summer break, teachers in District developed curriculum maps consisting of scope (what will be taught), sequence (when concepts will be taught), and common District benchmark assessments to monitor the student’s progress through the school year. The public can access the mathematic curriculum maps by logging on to the Garfield School District web page, selecting the “Teacher” tab, and finally selecting “GCSD Math Curriculum Maps” or you select the following link https://gcsd.app.box.com/s/oka8dnaz20lcun3qf7p9

Each curriculum map will show how the chapters in each section are aligned to the Utah Core along with vocabulary words, and online resources for each standard and objective. I would like to thank all of the teachers in the District who helped develop the GCSD curriculum maps. We currently have kindergarten through 6th grade available. Math 7, math 8, math I, math II, and math III will be coming in the near future.
