Student Cyber Corps Program – Technology
POSITION AVAILABLE: Garfield County School District is hiring students for their Cyber Corps Program – Information Technology in Panguitch, Bryce Valley & Escalante. This position will be up to 15 hours per week in the summer and up to 5 hours per week during the school year. There are no benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Students will be trained and work with the district computer science coordinator to enhance their information technology education by providing hands-on and career experiences. Duties will include troubleshooting/fixing Chromebooks, projectors, audio systems, video broadcasting and computer applications within the district.
WAGE: The current Utah minimum wage of $10.00 per hour.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be enrolled in either Panguitch Middle/High School, Bryce Valley High School or Escalante High School . Students must be 14 years of age and entering at least 8th grade. Preference will be given to applicants interested in computer science or technology.
