Charitable Contributions

During the past few months, the students in Garfield School District have been the beneficiaries of two substantial charitable donations. South Central Communications is donating $10,000 to purchase classroom sets of Chromebooks for students in the District. The second donation was from Michael Ross and the Ross Family fund which included $5,000 for Panguitch Elementary, $2,500 for Panguitch Middle School, and $2,500 for Panguitch High School. I would personally like to thank South Central Communications and the Ross Family Fund for their charitable financial contributions to the students in Garfield School District. Our schools receive many hours of service from individuals working to generate funding for individual school foundations and booster clubs. I would also like to thank the people in our communities who donate their time to help these organizations. In addition to charitable donations, students receive and benefit from countless hours of time that individuals donate by listening to students read or help them with homework. Thank you for your many contributions to our students.
