Adult Education

The Garfield County School District has a very successful Adult Education program operating across the district.  During the 2014-2015 school year, the county’s Adult Education program graduated 17 students.  All education services are provided at no cost to enrolled students.  Also, the adult education program provides tutoring services for individual who have a high school diploma but may need some help with reviewing math or language arts skills to help individuals with employment.  The Adult Education program can be completed online at home with supervision.  If you are interested in obtaining a GED, the district Adult Education program can help you in this process.  If your native language is Spanish and you would like to learn English, the district Adult Education provides English classes in Panguitch and at Ruby’s Inn.  If you would like additional information or to schedule a consultation, please contact Curtis Barney at 435-676-1151 for more information.  We appreciate Mr. Barney and the services he provides to the adult learners in our district.
