Microsoft Office 365 Available Now for GCSD Teachers and Students

Garfield County School District is happy to announce the availability of Microsoft Office 365 to all the students 13 years of age and older.  This software platform allows for students and district employees to download the Microsoft Office suite on five personal devices for free.  A step by step video is available on the school district webpage at https://www.garfk12.org/.

Depending on whether you have a PC or Mac computer the following programs are available.

PC: Office 2016 versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access. Windows 7 or later required.

Mac: Office 2016 versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Office 2016 for Mac requires Mac OS X 10.10.

If a student was to purchase these programs, it would cost $69 per year.  Because of the purchase of a site license by the district, they can now have the programs at no cost.  If you have questions, contact Jason Eyre at the district office.
