On August 20th, the Garfield County School Board will be considering changes to the student registration fee schedule for the 2015-2016 school year. If the new fee schedule receives approval by the School Board, parents who have students in 7th – 12th grades will see a substantial savings. The 2015-2016 fee schedule removes the following items:
PE locker $1.50
Shop Class $10.00
Foods Class $10.00
Cheerleading Participation $25.00
AP Testing Fee $40.00
Total savings to the parents and students is $112.50. The Garfield County School District is financially stable with no need to collect these additional fees at the high school level. The School Board will be considering the following fee schedule for the 2015-2016 school year. Elementary schools do not collect any student fees in the District.
